Bembridge Angling Club has membership of adults, wives and juniors totalling nearly 200. The club has a self built club house on St Helens North Quay along with a fenced parking area. The club has a lease from the harbour company for an area of ground on which there are swinging mooring for boats mainly from 16 to 20 foot with a few up to thirty five foot. Around the Quay there are spaces for five boats up to thirty one feet and a further five boats are moored between piles off the Quay.

Public meeting with the new owners of the harbour
Following their purchase of Bembridge Harbour (Bembridge Harbour Improvements Company Limited), the new owners, Malcolm and Fiona Thorpe would like to invite all stakeholders and those interested in the Harbour to attend a meeting at the Bembridge Village Hall on Tuesday 31st January 2012 at 6pm.

I am please to announce that we have been offered major sponsorship from Pascall Atkey & Sons, Yacht Chandlers of Cowes that will enable us to turn or normal club Bass competition on the 29th July into a full open comp with prizes similar to our Open Cod Comp. The fixture list has been amended accordingly, including a reserve date of 23rd September. Please note that any fixture lists printed before 6-1-12 should be replaced with a further amended version. More details will be revealed later.

Currently we have a few moorings available for smaller boats on our inner swinging moorings. If any member is interested, or knows of a non member who may be interested, please contact the moorings officer. (See "Committee & Contact Us" page) These are only available to paid up members but we are always prepared to receive applications for new memberships. See the bottom of the page "About Us" for the procedure for new membership applications.

The police in this area are calling on boat owners and members of the public to be vigilant to marine crime/terrorism and to report any suspicious behaviour.
